The Elks National Foundation Hoop Shoot is a free throw contest that provides youth an opportunity to compete, connect and succeed through hard work and healthy competition. There is no cost to compete.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Youth ages 8-13 advance through local contests, starting with a Lodge contest, followed by Districts, States, and Regionals to the National Finals in Chicago. Six National Champions will have their names and photos displayed at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Kids are separated into three age groups, 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13, with girls and boys competing separately (age group is based on the contestant age on April 1, 2025).
